Camelot Hotel

Driven Shooting

The rolling hills and wooded valleys of North Cornwall and Devon have an international reputation for the quality of pheasant and partridge on offer and you certainly won't be disappointed by the sport provided by the various local estates with which the Camelot maintains longstanding connections.

Days of between 100 and 300 birds are available with January still being the best month for quality rather than quantity. Prices start as little as £25 per head including lunch which compares extremely favourably with many other parts of the UK.

We find that parties of about 8 guns are ideal although we can easily cater for smaller groups with either smaller driven or walked up shooting days.

Bags are clearly more reliable from early in the season until mid December when the sport becomes progressively more challenging.
