Camelot Hotel

Home

What enthusiasts really appreciate about shooting breaks in Devon and Cornwall is the knowledge that the sport has always formed an integral part of life in this predominantly agricultural environment. It's not surprising therefore that visitors are always remarking to us about the wholly natural and authentic feel of our shooting parties compared with locations nearer the metropolitan areas which they tend to regard as being too contrived and corporate. Moreover, they never cease to be amazed at the quality of the birds on the local estates when viewed against the costs which continue to be extremely competitive compared with other parts of the country.

The Camelot Hotel is still run by the Naylor family who have built up strong connections with several local estates over the course of the many years in which they have been hosting shooting breaks for those who enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere, the hands-on organisation and the superbly located and appointed accommodation.

We can arrange tailor-made packages to suit every party's requirements and always ensure that at least one member of our own staff accompany each group.

Parties who return year after year are attracted by the bracing climate on Cornwall's Atlantic coast, the varied topography which is ideal, not only for the main quarry, pheasant, but also for walked up shoots for elusive woodcock and snipe. We also have nearby facilities offering clays and expert one-to-one tuition.

Whichever type of activity you choose for each day, a warm welcome awaits you back at the Camelot with its vibrant bar and award winning dining facilities.
